    In the carbon molecular production field, tar, as a key raw material, faces great challenges in long-distance transportation in winter due to poor low-temperature fluidity. Traditional electric heat tracing is commonly used, but its energy consumption and safety shortcomings are obvious. After in-depth exploration, our company independently designed a hot water tracing system, which provides an excellent solution to the problem of tar transportation.   When tar is at low temperatures, its viscosity increases sharply, its fluidity decreases significantly, and it even solidifies, seriously hindering pipeline transportation. Electric heat tracing generates heat by electricity. Although it can heat pipelines, it has many deficiencies, such as high energy consumption. It relies on stable power supply and has a high safety risk in flammable and explosive environments. In contrast, hot water tracing has outstanding advantages. Hot water has a large heat capacity and stable temperature, and the heat transfer is uniform and gentle, which can avoid local overheating and damage to pipelines, and also reduce safety risks.   Our company innovatively adopts the design of close fitting between aluminum pipes and tar pipelines. Aluminum pipes have good thermal conductivity and can quickly transfer the heat of hot water to the tar pipelines to ensure that the tar temperature is suitable for flow. They are wrapped with customized thermal insulation sleeves, which are made of high-efficiency thermal insulation materials, effectively blocking heat loss, improving thermal efficiency, and reducing energy consumption. There is sufficient heat source inside the factory, and hot water resources are abundant. Using these waste heats for tar tracing realizes an efficient energy cycle, greatly reduces the demand and cost for additional energy sources, conforms to the concept of energy conservation and emission reduction, and helps enterprises achieve sustainable development. In terms of safety, hot water tracing avoids the fire and explosion risks caused by electrical faults in electric heat tracing, and is suitable for industries with high safety requirements such as the chemical industry. The system is closed and circulates, and the hot water flows stably, reducing the probability of medium leakage accidents and building a solid safety defense line for production. In actual operation, the system has performed excellently. Long-term monitoring shows that the stability of tar transportation in winter has been significantly improved, pipeline blockage has almost disappeared, and the continuity of production is guaranteed. Compared with electric heat tracing, energy consumption is reduced by more than 90%, and the energy-saving effect is remarkable. At the same time, shutdown maintenance is reduced, production efficiency is greatly improved, and economic benefits are considerable.   This hot water tracing system is an efficient, energy-saving, and safe choice for long-distance tar transportation. By utilizing the factory's heat source and with the optimized design of aluminum pipes and thermal insulation sleeves, it overcomes the problem of difficult low-temperature transportation of tar and has achieved remarkable results in terms of energy and safety. This achievement helps enterprises gain a competitive advantage and also provides valuable references for peers, promoting industrial technological progress and sustainable development.
