Working Principle in PSA Oxygen Purification
 
Selective Adsorption
Carbon molecular sieve has a porous structure. Under a certain pressure, the adsorption capacity of SHANLI carbon molecular sieve for oxygen in the air is much higher than that for nitrogen. When the compressed air passes through the adsorption bed filled with SHANLI carbon molecular sieve, oxygen molecules are adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve, while nitrogen and other gases pass through the bed and are discharged as waste gas.
 
Regeneration and Cycle
When the adsorption capacity of the carbon molecular sieve reaches saturation, the pressure is reduced to make the adsorbed oxygen desorb from the carbon molecular sieve, thus regenerating the carbon molecular sieve. Through the alternate operation of two adsorption towers, the continuous production of oxygen can be realized.
