Main Application
1.13X-APG molecular sieves are mainly used in air separation units for gas purification, drying and desulfurization of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and liquid hydrocarbons.
2.Removal of H2S in natural gas and liquid petrol gas, natural gas.
3.Purification of raw gas for large and medium-sized cryogenic air separation units, removal of water (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and hydrocarbons.
4.13X-APG molecular sieves have a high carbon dioxide adsorption capacity and can also adsorb trace amounts of moisture, acetylene, and other hydrocarbons from the air.
FAQ
What is the lifespan of a molecular sieve?
- Typically 2–5 years, depending on conditions (temperature, contaminants, regeneration cycles). Performance decline shows as reduced adsorption or increased pressure drop.
Why does a molecular sieve crumble or break?
- Mechanical wear: High gas velocity or improper packing.
- Thermal stress: Rapid temperature changes during regeneration.
- Liquid exposure: Water ingress damages pores (pre-treatment required).
What if adsorption efficiency drops?
- Check regeneration completeness.
- Test for oil/dust in feed gas (install filters).
- Verify sieve type matches the application.
